That Pop of Color

 Two somewhat different outfits, two somewhat different pops of color. I couldn't decide which way I wanted to go with this look - the neons shoes or the red lips? All i knew was that i didnt want to do both at the same time....just too much pop, no? So here's a sampling of both, you can decide which one you like best.

How could I go an entire TWO weeks in fall without incorporating leather in my look. :)

Today I had an AMAZING shoot with Ramzi. It was sooooo COLD but it was all worth it :) I can't wait to show you all some of the pictures. Also, this week I will be putting up a post with special guest features from New Orleans so get excited :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that necklace <3

I don't think I have formally introduced my really really good friend to you all. I mean, I have mentioned her several times but never really had a post about her. So here goes...this is Leonie :) and she is amazing and awesome and she is just IT for me. I love her to bits! She recently just graduated so a BIG, HUGE, GINORMOUS Congratulations to her...again :) She wore this outfit to a friend's graduation lunch. It's  casual but with a Leonie twist.

My week, in a nut shell, was amazingly amazing. I went to an intern event in Houston, met a bunch of interns and networked with some important people from the company. It was fun and informative so "yay!" to that :). Im back in Nola and I'm worn out from the week's events. I know I said I would do all the touristy stuff but I'm so so so so so tired. However, I think I might make a trip to the French Quarters tonight and then go for some beignets and cafe au lait from the famous Cafe Du Monde :)

Peachy in Lace

Sunsets in Boston (on good days) are absolutely amazing. I didn't have a good view of the sun actually setting but the light and colors just do it for me. I decided to go simple, sort of casual and with a neutral/nude color palette for this look. I could have worn bright shoes to add that pop of color but honestly i felt like nudes and peaches that day.

PS: Yes, I am wearing two different heels. I wanted to try the outfit with both heels so I made my cousin carry the other pair of heels while we walked so I could change into them for le pictures lol. Don't judge me lol I just wanted to try different things with that one look

Subtly Colorful Sunsets

When the hair tie broke lol

Bonjour! Bonjour! Today, I am sooo sooo happy and I have no clue why! lol I've been all smiles for the last week or so and I really can't say that theres been a reason. Hey! Who am I to complain! lol
It's just interesting how I have a cold and a 10-page paper to write for my Anthropology class (which, by the way, I haven't started yet) and I'm still all smiles and zero panic. I guess I just woke up on the right side of bed today (and for last 8 days)!

Anyway, as you all can tell I am wearing my new babies (the nude booties) with my outfit. :) I was so excited when I got them I just had to wear them with one of my looks this week. I decided to tie my hair up for this particular look but then the hair tie broke and I didn't have extras so I had to let my hair down. It was kinda funny! We worked through it though and now i present to you two different looks - hair up and hair down. Take your pick! haha

 I am wearing my booties with a shirt from H&M and a maxi skirt. H&M has a way of surprising me a lot - this season (and the last) they seem to have very unique ( and on-trend) pieces, like the shirt I'm wearing. I was just drawn to it and it fits in perfectly with the trends this Spring. You all should make a trip there and patiently scour through the store, I guarantee you will find something that will make you go "Wow!" :) ANDDD Marni for H&M is coming soon! So keeps your eyes and ears out :)

Right now, I need to concentrate on the blank page which is soon to be a complete 10-page paper :). Wish me luck!
