Neon + Leather

Today is a not-so-great day! It's snowing/raining, it's cold, I'm sick and I have a quiz which I completely forgot about! I had my highs, now I guess life is handing me my lows! *sigh* My plan of action is to study, study, study through my sore throat and poor weather with a cup of tea and lemon in one hand and a blue highlighter in the other not to mention some serious prayer. I always get through things like this....I think? lol

Anyway, tomorrow I'm heading to Houston to spend some time with my family and I can't wait to see them! My sister recently got engaged and her fiancee's family is coming down to meet us and spend  some time with us. It should be exciting plus I get to see my three ADORABLE, GORGEOUS nieces :) :)

AND next weekend, two of my really really really good friends (except Somi - my bestie/sister from another mother - who can't make it because of Mid-terms :( ) are coming the Boston for the weekend. I guess I have another high coming my way. I also plan on getting my very own DSLR Camera, suggestions are welcome! :) I'm looking for one that will give me crisp, professional-looking images at all times....but without the four-figure price tag.

Now back to le outfit! Im wearing an H&M neon shirt with a leather skirt paired with my black ankle boots as well as large clutch designed by a Ghanaian bag designer from New York named Akuaa. I got that bag from a Harvard African Cultural event about 2 years ago and I haven't, not even for a moment, had any regrets about that purchase!

Anyway, back to studying! :)

Yours Truly,

Marcie
