Remember Dorothy's sparkly red shoes in the Wizard of Oz? Well, my red shoes took me home - not Ghana home but Houston home - last weekend for the blessing of my sister's marriage.  My sister is wearing silver sparkly Jimmy Choo's which I plan on "borrowing" one of these days. I mean, what are sisters for? lol. I took A LOT of pictures of everyone there but me, so today I recreated my look in the semi-wonderful weather we had here in New England! As you can see in the pictures it wasn't warm enough to melt the snow :/ so you may wondering, "Was she cold? or was it kinda warm?"...OH, YESSIR! I was freezing my butt off in that dress. It took a lot to keep myself composed in those pictures and I think I deserve a slice of that absolutely delicious Tiramisu shown above =)

Today a good friend of mine arrives to spend part of Spring break with me! He's been a good friend since High School and I admire him so, so much! :) I can't wait to show him around the city and hopefully this "good" weather will hold up through the weekend *fingers crossed* But on the flip side, I have another quiz before he arrives and I am not done studying for it. Oh, what procrastination does to my life! smh

Also, as you can see from the pictures, the shoot went very well! It wasnt as warm as I anticipated but it was nice enough that I found a brick wall to take pictures of my spring looks in front of  :) :) And I chose that brick wall because it was windy (cold wind) everywhere else and I couldn't keep a composed face lol
