I would like to dedicate today's post to my mother who passed away about two and a half years ago from breast cancer. Without her I wouldn't be the person I am today. I strive to be the woman she was and more. Not a day goes by that I don't think about her and the fight, drive, ambition and strength she had. I would like to encourage all the readers to donate to any breast cancer organization bearing in mind that every cent donated goes toward saving the lives of women in your lives

During my weekend in Houston, my sister and I went through my mother's things as we hadn't touched them since she passed. It was possibly one of the most painful things I've had to do in a while. As we sorted through them, this shirt caught my eye and it brought back some very good memories of my mom and me. I then decided to use it for a post this week :) in memory of her!
On a much lighter note, my weekend was SOOOO much fun and my liver is going to pay the price for it. I haven't had THAT much fun is such a long time and was most certainly a needed break but the weekend is over now and it's time to take it a little slow. At this very moment, all I am thinking about is making up for my sleep deprived weekend. I am so tired right now, I can hear my bed calling my name!
Goodnight lovelies! :)
Yours Truly,
Marcie
