White on Labor Day

I AM BACK IN BEAN TOWN Y'ALL! (I had to bring some of the south up north with me lol)

It's been a VERY busy three days here. Today, was crazy busy. I had to register for classes, a meeting with my advisor, the shoot, lunch with mes amies, not to mention moving and unpacking plus I lost my phone for like an hour (yea...it made my life lifeless for a moment). Anyway, it's not yet the day after labor day so I guess it's ok to wear white, right?

Anyhu, THAT JACKET made me so happy for like an hour lol. I sound like a shopaholic.....ok maybe I am one  -_- lol. As i said before, leather is completely in this pre-fall/fall and the fact that it's denim AND leather just made it perfect for the summer-fall transition. You can just plop it on any of your summer dresses in preparation for Fall.

Tribal Much?

 

 Hello, hello! I am back from the dead. Once again, I have to apologize for my absence it was more difficult (well...awkward) asking people I barely knew to take pictures of me for a blog so it took a little more time than anticipated. But I'm back and it's good now. Bad news is for the last week or so my laptop has been sick :( She's at Apple right now and hopefully she will be home with me soon. It's so wrong how my life has changed so much because I don't have a laptop. I depend on it way too much!

Jumpsuits are my new favorite thing and when I saw that printed one I couldnt help myself. It was a littl breezy that day so i put on a really light blazer i got at zara last summer. It was just for a nice lunch with le friends :) I decided to wear it with the neon yellow clutch and beaded statement necklace just to add a little oomph.

Anyway, here are some things you should be expecting this week:

I'm in New Orleans now and I miss Boston terribly. It feels like the first day of school and I'm the new girl...I had butterflies and everything lol. Wish me luck! First day of work is usually the most important, first impressions and all, and I think I made a pretty good first impression. Once again, I find myself being the only female on my team, its not bad but it would be extra nice to have a woman to talk to once in a while. lol.

I have avoided "tight" dresses since the end of high school but this dress spoke to me and it said, elegant. Forget the little black dress, this summer be fearless and rock that red :)

I have one more post for you guys until I go MIA. But Faithie and Leonie will help me keep the blog running until I'm to find someone to take the pictures.

Firstly, I would like to apologize for my absence. I know its been an entire week but things got crazy, not to mention the weather pulled a complete 180 on us :/ I'm back though and ready as ever! The break actually gave a chance to go shopping :) and I cant wait to show you all what I got!

Today some of my closest friends and I went out for brunch just to hang out and catch up and I decided to go in black, white and gold! I was exhausted from last night (as you can probably tell lol) but I love them and NEEDED to have some alone time with my babies :). Being the shopaholics we are, we found a thrift store and of course we went CRAZY! I must say I got some really interesting vintage pieces :) :D Also, Peplum is totally in this Spring and most stores have amazing peplum pieces out (Zara and H&M, for sure)  :)

Anyway, it's almost Monday! :/......HAPPY MONDAY!!!! :)
