Rain on Red

This weekend was.....an adventure! But most of what happened will remain my little secret :). What I will tell you is it was plenty, plenty fun but it's time to get back to work :/

Today it rained and it was cold and I didn't feel like doing anything :/ I pretty much stayed in bed most of the day except for lunch with my family! Have I ever mentioned I hate cold weather? Today I decided to go comfortable and casual to lunch with my red plaid shirt and a really cool pair of pants from zara that are part waxed denim and part spandex. I completed the look with my gold cuffs and necklace (as always). Did you notice, I finally straightened my hair! Today, I just did it! lol

Fire and ice, day and night, hot and cold - everything I think this post embodies. This is one of the outfits I wore for the photo shoot with Ramzi last weekend. I decided to pair BCBG Max Azria Runway dress from 2009 (there are some items I just CANNOT let go of, so don't judge) with one of my denim shirts. I figured that it could become a day-to-night look with the denim shirt over the dress for a day look and the dress by itself for a night time (possibly date or formal) look. Also the colors scream hot and cold/fire and ice . Clever, huh? lol ok, not really but still.

Today was an amazing day! It was sooo nice outside and my psych class was soooo interesting! It was just nice! Plus I made some new friends. Unfortunately the the temperature is going to drop after tomorrow :( but it wont be as cold as it was two weeks ago!



It's Fridayyyy! It's the weekend! yay! I have too much to do and see this weekend, I'm worried I may not be able to get everything done but I shall take it one thing/person/event/night at a time lol

Bittersweet Days

It already feels like the week should be over *sigh* but I have this weekend to look forward to so I just need to pull through two more days, just two. I was actually thinking of making a trip to NYC this weekend but decided to wait a couple more weeks so I could do NYC, Jersey and Philly in one long weekend to visit all my favorite people :)

Aside from today being a semi-crappy day, the weather was FANTASTIC! It was sooo warm I couldn't help but go for a long, aimless walk on Newbury Street. I'm praying the weather does not change *fingers crossed*.

I decided to pair a black sweater with a blush, asymmetric skirt as well as some nice. bold gold jewelry. My hair has been a HOT MESS this last week. I've been too lazy to straighten it so I take the easy road and just tie it back into a messy bun. This needs to change though! These pictures have provided me with enough motivation to straighten that mess....maybe tomorrow.....or the day after :/


I'm gonna call it a night and head to bed really early. Nighty night Lovelies! :) :)

Neon + Floral

My hair ACTUALLY looks red (i think lol) in this picture

My weekend was amazing thanks to Ramzi Yamusah and Elorm Yao! The shoot went sooooo well and  it was soooooo artsy - it told a story! Anyhu, I will definitely post some of those pictures tomorrow and attach a link to his page but for now you will have to wait! :)

 I also spent some time with friends from high school and it was amazing to see them and actually talk about stuff. It was nice! I forgot how many many truly sincere and amazing people I know from back home :)

It's time to get back to work! Hope you like le outfit :)
